President & CEO

Stephanie Joy Styres, was born and raised in the beautiful Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. Stephanie, Mohawk turtle clan, is the President/CEO of Market Place Solutions Inc. A First Nations consulting firm that specializes in Community Revitalization, Business Coaching and Corporate Social Responsibility Planning.

As previous owner and Director of the Roofing Specialists Inc., Stephanie successfully led The Roofing Specialists Inc. to over 1.9 million dollars in revenue within the first three years of business.

Stephanie has invested over 15 years of employment at Grand River Employment and Training as Program and Services Officer, Youth Services Department Manager and Program Quality Assurance Manager. Her experience includes youth programming, performance appraisals, goal setting, program planning, government report writing, business coaching, strategic planning, proposal writing, project management, coordination, implementation and management of the youth programs, community planning  and leadership development across Canada.

She also has experience working with government funding/grant providers such as Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Ontario Library Association – Community Access Program, Indigenous Affairs and Northern Development Canada, Ontario Federation of Indian Friendship Centres & Grand River Employment and Training Initiative (OGI), Youth Employment Strategy, Aboriginal Human Resource Development Strategy and Human Resource Development Canada.
